Toader Hang, born in 1967 and raised with eight brothers in Romania, came to Brussels in 2001, lives in Molenbeek and works as a manager at Bonnevie community centre. He loves the Grand Place, the Atomium, Tervuren Park, taking walks between the Canal and the city centre and his weekly visit to the market at the Abattoir in Anderlecht. For him, Brussels is a warm community, but also urban chaos and lots of traffic. He regrets that too much green space still has to give way to buildings. His questions about the future are about the social system and permanent protection, housing affordability and political stagnation.
Toader Hang est né en 1967 et a grandi avec huit frères en Roumanie. Il est arrivé à Bruxelles en 2001, vit à Molenbeek et travaille comme manager au centre communautaire Bonnevie. Il aime la Grand Place, l'Atomium, le parc de Tervuren, les promenades entre le canal et le centre-ville et sa visite hebdomadaire au marché de l'abattoir d'Anderlecht. Pour lui, Bruxelles est une communauté chaleureuse, mais aussi un chaos urbain et beaucoup de circulation. Il regrette que trop d'espaces verts doivent encore céder la place à des bâtiments. Ses questions pour l'avenir concernent le système social et la protection permanente, l'accessibilité des logements et la stagnation politique.

Hij houdt van de Grote Markt, het Atomium, het Park van Tervuren, wandelingen maken tussen het Kanaal en het centrum en zijn wekelijks bezoek aan de markt aan de Abattoir in Anderlecht. Brussel is voor hem een warme gemeenschap, maar ook stedelijke chaos en veel verkeer. Hij betreurt dat er nog teveel groen moet wijken voor gebouwen. Zijn vragen aan de toekomst gaan over het sociaal systeem en blijvende bescherming, betaalbaarheid van woningen en de politieke stilstand.
