Each person has a story, and each story is important, because together they form the identity of the city. What touched me was getting into the history of individuals.
I think this project is important because Brussels is going through a major social crisis. More and more people are being forced to leave the city for the outskirts. Doing this project means photographing the city before it's too late.
Chaque personne a son histoire et chaque histoire est importante. Ensemble, elles fondent l’identité de la ville. Ce qui m’a touché, c’est de rentrer dans l’histoire des individus.
Je pense que ce projet est important car Bruxelles connaît une crise sociale très importante. De plus en plus de personnes sont contraintes de quitter la ville pour s’installer en périphérie. Réaliser ce projet c’est photographier la ville avant qu’il ne soit trop tard.
Elke persoon heeft een verhaal en elk verhaal is belangrijk, samen vormen ze de identiteit van de stad. Wat me raakte was het binnendringen in de geschiedenis van individuen.
Ik denk dat dit project belangrijk is omdat Brussel een grote sociale crisis doormaakt. Steeds meer mensen worden gedwongen de stad te verlaten en naar de buitenwijken te verhuizen. Door dit project te doen, fotografeer je de stad voordat het te laat is.
